SOFOS 360
Orders module
Modules of SOFOS 360 > Orders module

You can use the Orders module to extend the Stock module to a full-fledged warehouse management system. The system can automatically generate order requests if the minimum inventory of an item is reached. In addition, an order can be requested by authorized persons within the organization. This order can be sent to the supplier after internal firming (final order advice).

You can use the Orders module to do the following activities/questions:

With the order module you have the possibility to manufacture an order request, to firm (make) the order request, to create order forms and to create the signal lists of items to be ordered.

You can improve the management of your inventory by identifying timely shortages on one hand and minimizing your inventory on the other.

The moment you issue an item, the application can automatically check with the order module for you if the inventory is below the minimum you set, and if necessary generate an order request for the item at hand. The minimum stock and the current stock are determined in units of the item of the packaging, not in numbers. This ensures that you will also receive an order request with bulk items at the right time.

You can still modify, extend, or delete the generated order requests, and of course enter your own order requests. When you make an order request for a vendor consisting of multiple items (packages), you group them into one order.

You can indicate whether or not it has been delivered in the 'Receipt order' function of each package. In addition, you can process any deviations in the delivered quantities. In this function, you can choose 'Receipt for Stock inventory' and 'Direct Issue' just like in the 'Receipt' function within the Stock module.
